Switched from ABA to floortime

After 2 years of ABA we switched to DIR/Floortime and the difference is night and day. He's more engaged, happier, and actually INITIATING play. Not saying ABA is bad but this works for us.

    We dealt with the same thing. It took about 6 months but things got better.
